Regular visitors to my Pixie-Led site will have noticed that I recently spent a week down in Cornwall. It was lovely to get away from the rat-race and to recharge my batteries for a short while. And, as well as making good progress on my new novel whilst down there, I managed to visit a few intriguing and rather spectacular places too. After the long drive down to Mawgan Porth, however, my wife and I contented ourselves with just an evening's chill-out on the coast beneath the cottage we had rented for the week and we arrived just in time to watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean. Precious times...

A quick writing sesh in work
This afternoon I finally took an hour out of my day to progress Pixie-Led past a difficult part of its storyline. Given the lack of progress I have made on this novel since last week's writing spree in Cornwall, I was more than happy with the page and half of writing I managed to produce in that time. I am still uncertain as to how the plot will continue through this chapter though, so I might have to let my mind dawdle on the unfolding of this story before I commit any more ink to paper...

Writing in the Cornish Mist
Starting work on the first draft of Chapter 13 of Pixie-Led. Heading towards a tricky Chapter 14, where I have, as yet, no idea what is going to happen...
