War of the Worlds

Took my father to see Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds in Cardiff this evening 🙂🙂

I've been wanting to take him to see the show for years, as we both shared a love for the album.

My parents were away in Blackpool and bought me the L.P. that I'd been wanting since accidently coming across it being broadcast in it's entirety on my first ever radio as I kid!

We both thoroughly enjoyed it too 🙂🙂

Kula Shaker & Ocean Colour Scene

First gig we've been to for a fair while. Could miss out on an Ocean Colour Scene and Kula Shaker combo, especially when they were playing in our home town. 🕺💃

Gigging Again

I haven't been to a gig for a couple of years nows. But this is a good enough double-bill to get me out of that funk. And they are literally playing down the road from me too. Bought the tickets this afternoon. 🙂

A Rainy Sunday Morning

Another rainy Sunday morning. Still, it has created quite a moody atmosphere and I am taking full advantage of it to do a little ghost story writing.

To add to the ambiance, I am playing an absolutely beautiful pagan folk CD by Telling the Bees. I have seen this band play twice and they were both gorgeous experiences. I even got this treasured CD signed by the band before that sadly split:

Black Grape

I saw a great Black Grape gig a few nights ago. Nice to see the band and Sean Ryder publishing my photo of the band I took that night. Full credit too. Thank you guys :)
