Reflections

I love the reflections I see around this section of my work's office:

Bank Holiday Monday

A lovely Sunday morning saw us out in the garden. Even Fudge joined us, her first time outside since the fire. She was a little nervous and stuck close to us, but she enjoyed her time in the new garden:

A rare pic of Fudge with Monty:

Whilst out there, I also made good headway with my next novel, Familiar.

The light in our temporary home is gorgeous. I think I'm starting to fall in love with the place.

Sun, Sea, Settee

I have been looking at this view quite a lot recently! I need to get outside again!

Nostalgia #4

My prized memo of seeing Kate Bush live a few years back. These poems were fired out at the audience during the drowning-at-sea middle section of the gig.

A Moment of Peace

A sunbeam near our new living-room picture:

Berserk! Draft 2. Chapter 8.

Troubled by some irksome dream, I rose early this morning and nipped out into my writing shed with a steaming cup of coffee. Stepping inside the shed, I was confronted by these beautiful shadows above the chill-out settee I have in there.

Shadows on the wall above my chill-out settee
I have had a good few day's writing and am now two weeks ahead of schedule as I begin work on the second draft of Chapter 9 of Berserk! :)
