A Proper Day Out

The first nice weather of 2026 persuaded us to head down to Gower today. First stopt - The King Arthur's Hotel, in Reynoldston:

After that, we hearded to Llanmadoc to explore the Iron Ahe Hillfort known as The Bulwark:

On the way back to the car, we happenned upon the remains of a ruined Victorian school:

It was then time to head down to the Britannia Inn for a pint and a vegan curry and chips:

Baby Lophs

I took a sneak peek in on the Loph nursey this morning. Athird of the x100 seed I sowed last weekend have already germinated. 🙂

Variegated Caesipose Lophs

My new variegated Lophs are amazing. I was even sent a freebiee! I thing there are a couple seed pods hidden it its tuffts too 😍😍

Just surface-sowed X100 Lophohora williamsii seeds, sourced from Germany ( source: Koehres-Kakteen.de). Sown in a Westland Cacti mix (with Seramis) and mixed with Limestone. Will be placing this on a thermostat-controlled heatmat at 85° for maximum germination...

Crabs' Harvest

Just completed my Night of the Crabs Shell Island pilgrimage write-up. Next week, I will finish my Crabs horror story. And in the final few days of February, I'll finalise my latest Lego crab book mock ups. The deadline of February 28 for content of the next Guy N Smith fan book is now looming...
