Pub Crawl

Tonight's walk was a filler to our pubcrawl around the Uplands. We took in 3 pubs:

The Tavern

Noah's Yard

Jack Murphy's

Got a bit drunk watching the Karaoke in the last pub, and ended up not getting home until 1.15 a.m., laden with a few Quince fruits from the community orchard:

Mrs P.L., Walking Challege - Day 16

Another beautiful evening down Swansea Bay:

Took in a couple of bars/pubs, which were unusually quiet. The 3 staff at The Observatory outnumbered the customers, which were just me and Mrs P.L.

Following a pretty decent cocktail, we next visited Swansea's oldest pub, The No Sign Wine Bar, where we shared the pub with just 2 elderly men.

Our spirits warmed by a couple of pints, we left the pub at closing to complete the long walk along Swansea Bay to the awaiting car.

Mrs P.L.'s Walking Challenge - Day 15

I joined my lovely wife's walking challenge again tonight. So glad we went down Swansea Bay again as the shy but powerful Harvest Moon brought some tremendous, crashing waves to our feet:

Even though the waves roared to the shore at speed, the evening air was walm and held no breeze, making us slow our steps despite our awaiting destination - The Queen's Hotel pub:

Our dry throats quenched, we resumed our trek:

Halloween Funko Foto-parade 2025

It is the month of Halloween and my Pop Funkos are getting excited for the annual horror foto-parade. Billy the Puppet, on his lickle tricycle was the first to spark my attention:

Lego Horror Movie 8

An easy one this week. Can you name the horror film from these two lego pics?

You Know Who

Out for nightly walk this evening along Swansea Bay and happened to spit this intriguiging piece of art and immediately thought of you know who:

14k+ Steps

Our nightly walk across Swansea Bay tonight was sublime. Except for the odd love-struck couples, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves 🙂

Wood, Worms, a Meal and a Pint

17k steps after work today, taking in the petrified prehistoric forest remnants of the woodland that once filled Swansea Bay, lug worm colonies and ending in hot meal and a pint at the Croeso Lounge in Mumbles.

Just 12 weeks left for everone to get their crab related content in for the next GNS zine. The less I receive, the more I will have to produce myself lol. Here I am, already busy on my crab ghost story:
