A Beautiful Swansea Sunset

After my research/writing session, I met up with my lovely better half to do a whopping 20k step walk:

My wife's walking challenge is coming to close this weekend. I never thought I'd admit it, but I gonna miss them. I feel a lot healthier from the nightly walks that have filled my time. And I have also enjoyed out pub and bar visits. I have some overtime this weekend to help pay for all our meals and drinks we have consume whilst exploring.

Swansea Library

I took the opportunity to work on my ghostly giant crabs story for the next Guy N Smith fanzine down in the city library this evening. This will be my last ever visit to this location as the council are selling the building and the library is closing in a couple of day as it prepares to move into the city centre :(

Surely this is/was the beautifully located central library in the whole of the country?

I did a fair bit of crab research, as well as writing a several pages of the story itself as the sun sunk lower through the trees that line Swansea Bay:

An early evening very well spent :)

Another Walk Another Drink

Marina and SA2 time tonight for Mrs P.L.'s walking challenge:

Birthday Bro

My brother's birthday, so we took advantage of the location to take a stroll along the marsh road from Crofty to Llanrhidian we we took refreshments in the Welcone to Town Inn. Too dark for many fotos tho:

Frankie

I have been too busy of late to crack on with my annual Halloween Pop Funko fotoshoots, but I found time this evening to take my second pic of this year's funko crop:

Fishguard

Took a visit to Fishguard today to see the Spanish galleon anchored there. Gutted I couldn't ticket this off my Bucket List though as it's sails were folded and my wish is to see a galleion in full sail out at sea. Never mind...

As has been the norm for our walks lately, the weather was extremelt pleasant and it very much felt like a summer's day that it approaching the middle of October.

Anyway, here is the galleon:

A beauty, eh?

After our wander around its decks, we continued our walk, taking regular stops to eat and drink along the way:

After over 25k steps, it was time to head home...
