Father Malone Make-do

Back to the day job today, but thankfully working from home all week. Despite prostituting (not literally as I need a decent income )my time, I managed to find a decent lego stand in for Father Malone for my Lego set-up of the famous finale scene from The Fog.

Not a perfect impersonation, so I decided to change his heas and hair:

A Dream within a Dream

I watched one of my all-time favourite horror movies last weekend - John Carpenter's magnificently spooky The Fog. To ne, it is the perfect horror film - no gore, supernatural, atmopheric and with a top notch soundtrack.

Of course, any horror film I watch these days is to source a good scene for my Lego project and the following scene left me in no doubt what my next brick-would be:

My Lego repro begins...

Farewell, Furry Princess

Old age took our little furry pwscat this evening. On our vet's advice, she was given a strong steroid injection on Tuesday in the hope that it would give her a week or so window of struggle-free life, where palliative care could allow her to enjoy the last of her dwindling life. But its benefits lasted only a day or so and, within 48 hours, we returned the old lady for further medical care. There, the vet decided it was time to say our tearful, heartfelt goodbyes.

You will always be in our hearts, fudjcat. Our lives will be darker without your furry footsteps at our side. And all I can do right now, is share just a few of our memories of you in happier times. We will always love you. xxxx

I will end this post with a short video of her chilling in the freckling Summer sunshine:

Crabs: The Human Sacrifice

This was harder to recreate than I had anticipated:

Poor Pwscat

Little fudjcakes is breaking all our hearts as we try to make the most of our last few days with her. Our vet says he would have treated her the same is she was his cat so all I hope is that we are doing our best by her.

Sometimes life is unbearable, yet we still cling to it.

A quick Lego set-up, this one? Can you name the scary film?
